When Jake and I first met, one of our first dates was to The Nutcracker. We haven't been since. Not until this past weekend when I guess you could say, we've come a long way. From our days of singlehood, to now full-time parents, this was probably the most enjoyable trip to The Nutcracker I had. The dance studio Kennedy attends does a production of The Nutcracker, so this year we decided she might enjoy it. I have to say, at first I only bought tickets for her and I, thinking it'd be a fun "mother/daughter bonding" day, but after I told Jake I bought only 2 tickets, he said, "What?, but I wanted to go." Alright, alright, daddy can come too. We had a great time and of course, Kennedy was speechless the whole time.

Ah! Singles ward days! It is kind of crazy to look back at pictures "BK" (before kids) and realize how far you've come! What a great thing to do for the Christmas season. She'll probably want to go every year!
