A House is Not a Home...

Without a warm cozy fireplace! Jake and I decided to celebrate Christmas a little early this year and buy our gift now. We went out on our annual, (uh... I meant, semi-monthly!) date on Saturday night and found ourselves strolling the aisles of Home Depot and purchasing an electric fireplace! It's great though and we love it! Jake had to come home and install it that very night. At least we'll have somewhere to hang the girls' stockings from now on!

Ohhh... don't tell me that. It was probably a TON cheaper. Do you remember how much???

Maybe $389-ish but yours looks bigger!

its BEAUTIFUL!!! does this mean you're staying put now? or are you still trying to move?

my sister got a gorgeous one at costco but it was more around $500-something.

Yes... we've decided to stay put. It was more of an "elective" move, so now that we don't really have another house we're interested in and we still do love our (tiny) little house, we're going to stay for a little longer. We're hoping to expand the business shortly, so we think it's best to buckle down and sacrifice a little now for the better of the business. Hopefully by doing so, we can buy that big, beautiful house later!

How fun! It looks so great! Yes, the only reason to have a fireplace, is for hanging stockings! Congrats on the date thing...what's a date??? Haven't been on one in years...
