Yesterday was Ireland's 3rd routine check-up at Children's Hospital in 6 1/2 months. Ireland was born with a VSD (just like Pieper), so we're getting used to the routine with these kids. Even so much that I brought along the other two girls! After arriving and being told that Ireland would have to get an ECG and Echocardiogram, I quickly called grandma to have her come rescue my big girls. But, before she arrived, inbetween various appointments, we did much of this...

While Kennedy was very happy to do much of this...!
The good news is, Ireland is healthy, happy and growing like normal! Her VSD isn't giving her any complications and the left side of her heart has returned to normal size (it was enlarged early on do to her heart having to work a little harder than normal). We're hopeful that with time, and her getting bigger, her hole will eventually get smaller and smaller until it completely closes up.Hooray for healthy hearts and precious little girls!
