A couple weeks ago, Jake took both the girls home teaching with him to the Bishop's house. Apparently Jake had gum that the girls wanted to try. Upon arriving at the Bishop's house, Jake discovered that Pieper had gotten the gum in her hair- a very messy mess. So, the first 20 minutes of Jake's appointment were spent trying to get the gum out with massive amounts of butter. Yes, we like to make good first-impressions when getting a new route!
Here she is quite mad at all the tugging and slathering of her bangs. In the end, I ended up chopping off a section of her bangs. Yes, right in the middle of her head. Luckily, it's the hair underneath so it's not quite as obvious. But, lesson learned. DO NOT GIVE GUM TO PIEPER.

That's a pretty funny story!!! It happened to one of our girls and peanut butter did the trick. Good to know to try butter too! I love that photo of her :)
