Christmas Eve

Because we are so lucky to have both our parents within 30 minutes of us, we rotate families each year for the holidays. This year was our year to spend Christmas Eve with the Jackson family. We had a great time and loved being able to enjoy this special night with them. The evening started with Christmas BINGO and then was quickly followed up by a special visitor.

The children waited anxiously for Santa to hand-deliver their new Christmas jammies.

Santa was very good to the girls and brought them beautiful new Christmas pajamas.

We then had a delicious dinner which filled our bellies probably way more than it should. Tis the season to be jolly (and way overstuffed!). The children then all prepared themselves for the reading of Christ's birth and the nativity. They were all very reverent and I think enjoyed this part of the evening as much as anything else. We all concluded the reading and play by singing Silent Night. It was very sweet.

Here are all the grandkids before their live performance. :)

Kennedy & Pieper made beautiful angels.

And then it was time for Christmas FUN- the gift exchange!

Family, thank you for making the evening special! Love to you all.

Could you put some more pictures up showing off how cute your girls are? I don't think you've got enough of those!

Kennedy will look so lovely in her wedding dress when she marries my Jakey.
