I signed Kennedy up for a dance class this year. She loves it! I was a bit apprehensive at first since we tried it last year and she really didn't get into it. This year, thus far, has been a big turnaround for her. She has a great teacher, Ms. Liz, whom she adores. She's great with the girls and she does so many cute, cute dances with them. I'm surprised each time how quickly they catch on for only being 3 1/2. She now waltzes around the house doing leaps and turns and always begging me for her "princess songs" so she can dance to them. Everytime we see the Nutcracker commercial we have to rewind it at least three times so she can watch it again and again. Afterwards she looks at me and says, very seriously, "mom, we need tickets." So, Jake and I (well, mostly me!) bought tickets to the production at the Ikea Performing Arts Center.
Here's my little prima ballerina.

So CUTE! My sis and her daughter have had a tradition for YEARS. The day after Thanksgiving they drive to Logan to see The Nutcracker. Katie gets to wear her new Christmas Dress and they go out to eat at a "fancy" restaurant. Great Mom & Daughter time & tradition!
Very fun. Can't say that I can relate, but very fun. I never was into that stuff at all. Love that your girls are so fluffy girly, just like their Mom. So...if we needed plane tix, could we just nag you too and you'd buy them for us?? :)
BTW...my brother took his wife to see the Nutcracker in Seattle last year and even he ENJOYED it, which says a lot. SO maybe there is hope for me? :) Cute frilly girls of yours.
I'm just loving your blog!!! What gorgeous gorgeous girls you have. I'm sure you hear that DAILY. I'm so glad you are all doing so well :)
