This happened a couple weeks ago, but I just stumbled upon the photos and was reminded about how funny it was. I was having a particular "hard" day with Kennedy. She was tired, I was wore out and we were only half way through the day. I can't even remember why she was having a major meltdown, but she was. That I know. After trying every possible punishment, I finally resorted to calling daddy and having daddy give her the good ol' talking to. She's incredibly stubborn, so the only way this works for us is to put daddy on speaker phone. She knows she's been naughty so she tries diverting from the phone. Anyhow, after daddy gave her the "talk," she calmed down and it was my turn. She had calmed down and I started the explaining of her behavior and punishments. I noticed she was really paying attention- looking directly at me- straight into my eyes. I was thinking, "Man, she's really listening this time. I'm finally get through to her." And then I started to notice... her eyes getting heavy, then the rolling back of the eyes, the fight to keep them open. I had to hold back my laughter. I just let her sit there and fall sound asleep. And then, of course, tucked her in bed and enjoyed some peace after our brief storm.

When you see them like that it makes you wonder if they really act the way they do. They look so angelic when they sleep.
