There have been a lot of "firsts" for our family this week. This is the first year Kennedy is playing soccer. Still in the "pee-wee" division which consists of 3-5 year olds, she's excited to try something new. Pieper is also signed up to play, but once we arrived to practice, she immediately froze and wanted nothing to do with playing soccer, but rather rolling down the hill with her other friends. So, I think we'll stick to just having Kennedy play and Pieper scoring a rather expensive souvenir soccer ball and t-shirt.
Kennedy and one of her best girlfriends, Ryan, are lucky enough to play on the same team together this year!

On a side note, before practice Kennedy was asking me about making a goal. I explained to her that you had to kick the ball into the net to make a goal. She then said, "and win money!!!" No, darling, just a point. Dang it.)

Kennedy looks so cute in her soccer outfit! I hope she loves playing and has a fun season. And her comment about winning money is great!
Looks like fun, and so funny about Pieper! Hey if Kennedy is lucky (as my kids) daddy will bribe her w/ the $$$ portion in relations to the goals during the games!
She is making her Auntie and Cousins proud! How cute! oh...in the future...those goals just might be worth more than a point..bribery never did hurt! ;o)
