New Year's used to be a favorite of mine growing up. I looked forward to dressing up, going out with friends and celebrating. NOW, I look forward to dressing-down, staying in and dragging out the night until midnight. Yes, call me boring, but Jake's actually onboard with the whole idea too! So this year, after Jake logged in a full day of work and I logged in my own full day, we decided to keep it low-key and spend New Year's Eve with Jake's family. His parents invited us all over for dinner and we spent the rest of the evening relaxing, visiting, and playing a few games. It was great.

And some celebrated with sparklers!

Sarah, I've never met you but Jake, Darek, Alan, Karina & I used to hang out...Jake & I were also in the MTC together, & both served in SLC, though we were in different missions...
