Last night, we had dinner with some good friends from our ward. After our tasty dinner, we had a special invitation-only surprise from Santa himself. The kids were shocked! They got to sit on his lap and receive a special gift especially for them. I love the awe and wonder in their eyes at Christmas-time!
And because Ireland is at that age where all things not mom and dad are scary, dad had to join her on Santa's lap.
And poor Pieper started getting really sick with fever while we were there, so she opted to sleep through the whole evening but was quite amazed when we showed her the pictures afterward.
Thankfully brother Holt knew exactly where the reindeer like to eat while waiting for Santa, so he graciously took all the kids out to the barn to check it out. 
Little did they know the girls would find two chicken eggs!
