Ireland at 9 Months

Ireland at 9 months is so much fun! She is SUCH a happy baby, she makes us laugh and smile all the time. She continues to love people and anyone that will give her attention. She has developed quite a strong-will already. She definitely knows what she wants and doesn't want or like. She's discovered "real" food and will often fuss until she gets some. She's bounces with joy when she has both fists full of something to knaw or munch on. Her two top teeth have finally made their debut. My girls have always gotten their teeth two at a time. Ireland also finds her way around the house even though the actual "crawl" hasn't quite developed. She finds a way to move around and get what she wants. She does get up on all fours and tries moving her hands out, but the coordination hasn't quite clicked. I think we'll make it past Christmas and all the unwrapped presents! She loves to make lots of new sounds, especially "ma,ma" and "daaa, da." Her most favorite thing to do though is blow raspberries while she's being fed. Maybe it's our expressions after having food blown into our faces, but she loves it! Other quick facts about Ireland: still in size 4 diaper, wears a 12-month, takes two naps a day, usually sleeps from 7 - 8 at night until 8 or 9 in the morning but still likes a bottle half-way through, loves paper- anykind, hates getting dressed after a bath and is quite the mommy's girl. We love you, Ireland.
