A Picture a Day

A while back, I challenged myself to take a picture a day for 100 days. My hope was to improve my photography and actually KNOW how to operate my camera and get it to work for me. It was a fun challenge and one that proved the point that practice, practice, practice does actually work! But, then I got pregnant with Ireland and there sat my camera collecting dust for days on end. I didn't lose my desire or passion, I just didn't know how to get it back on track. I felt totally discouraged. But, thanks to my good friend, Kim, and her constant encouragement, she convinced me to do a small favor for her good friends and take their daughter's senior photos. At first I didn't want to, worried they wouldn't turn out, she wouldn't like them or I'd get there and not know a single thing to do. But, as silly as it sounds, after many quick prayers, a late night "refresher" course, and a beautiful girl to photograph, this is how it turned out. I was pleasantly surprised and VERY happy and relieved. I think they turned out GREAT. I think I'm back on track.

Thanks again Kim and Morgan! It was a blast!
