I don't claim, by any means, to be a professional photographer (or really anything close), but I do LOVE to take pictures- especially of people and children. So, when my friend, Kim, asked me to shoot some pictures of her girls for Father's Day, I was more than happy to do so. My fellow photographer and friend, Daina, turned us on to a great graffiti wall in Seattle that was perfect. Here are a few favorites from the shoot:

Aftewards, since we were in Seattle and the girls were such good sports, we made a quick stop by Krispy Kremes, then did lunch at The Spaghetti Factory and even made the tour of Pike's Place Market where I bought two amazingly beautiful flower bouquets. Ryan and Kennedy again stole the show at Pike's Place by wearing their butterfly wings everwhere. People were continually stopping them and taking their pictures. It was a GREAT day!

Awesome pics! Very nice.
I LOVED those pics. You did a great job. I know who I'm going to have do my next photo shoot!
You should be a professional!
WOW! I am impressed. Very nice pictures.
No, I think you're wrong Sarah...you're being way too modest! I'm pretty sure you can call yourself professional now! The flower bouquets look really pretty, sounds like you had a fun day is Seattle.
Great shots Sarah! For real...you are amazing...give yourself some more credit!
Oh, I SOOO miss being close to Seattle! I used to get fresh Pike flowers every week. *sniff, sniffle*
Exactly WHERE is that fab graffiti wall?! I just did an Urban Photoshoot a couple weeks ago, and that would have been a GREAT location!
Great job on the pictures Sarah, they're awsome. I'm going to have to get the low down on that location and take my kids for some pictures!
wow! I love it! You look professional to me!
Those are great photos. I'll have to tell my dad about that place. He's a photographer and has been looking for some new places with some cool lines. Log onto my blog and then click onto gillies family, that is my sister and there are some photos my dad did of her kids that she posted on there. I think you've got a knack for photography!!
You DEFINITELY have what it takes - the knowledge and the technique which someone can always learn BUT you also have the innate sense of colors and composition and things that you can't really learn. You could go really far if you wanted to - how FUN!
whoa girl! You've got talent! I wish I was closer so you could practice on my kids! Do you have a knack for it...keep it up!
Love the pixs! Next time we are up, book us for an appointment..those are beautiful. I really love the first with Kennedy. The girls loved seeing pixs of Ryan and Peyton.
