How is my little girl already NINE years old?!
A happy birthday breakfast to start the day off right!
And a low-key birthday with the grandparents over for dinner and dessert.
At Kennedy's request we had shrimp. Lots and lots of shrimp. That girl loves her seafood.
And, in lieu of a party this year, she opted for a bigger gift. She is in hog-heaven with her new Kindle Fire (and I kinda like it too!). What a lucky girl.

Seeing her come into her own
Develop her own sense of style
Be a great big sister
Work hard at hard things
Worship the ground her daddy walks on
Fix and figure out things I don't have patience for
Have wonderful friendships with good girls
Develop a love of art and music
Try new things and be brave
Make good choices and grow her testimony
Being loved by her parents.
