It's a Good Thing

I love running across "good things" and since it's spring break this week, which means no dance class or preschool, I was looking for a couple "good things" to fill our week. Thanks to my sister-in-law, Stacie, for turning us onto this new good thing I wanted to pass it along to all of you (locals that is!) for you to enjoy- it's The Federal Way Community Center Leisure Pool. We went there yesterday, along with 14 of our children!, and they all had a BLAST! I even had a little fun too (although it DID require me getting into my swimsuit after a season of hybernating). They have a daily open swim from 11-1, 4-5 and 6:30-8:30. Their website is http://www.cityoffederalway.com/. Happy swimming!

Thank you so much Sarah! The Sumner Pool only has open swim on like Wed., Fri, & Sat. & the times always conflict w/ our other family activities, so this will be GREAT. Bre has been begging to go swimming, last time Matt took the kids to go the pool was already too full...this will be great, it looks like a fun pool. So I'm assuming there's a shallow end/area for the little ones?

That looks fun. It seems like everyone I talk to this week is going swimming--it's got me in the mood! This place looks exactly like one I went to in Utah--but I have to admit I think that its weird that all the pools here have only certain hours you can swim...

So...you will head to the south end sometimes...I mean...the F-dub ghetto! :) Some of the beehives were talking about this place at our activity yesterday. You must have crossed paths with them?? Looks like fun.
