Christmas Day

Christmas 2013

I was so excited for Christmas- Santa was extra kind and brought the kids exactly what they wanted.  It made the anticipation of seeing their faces even that more exciting.
But, of course, they couldn't dive into their presents until we snuck one photo in together first.
They were all so happy and excited to see what Santa and mom and dad had brought them this year.  Kennedy was thrilled she received Saige, Pieper was over-the-moon about Kit, Ireland loved getting her dreamlight and Crew couldn't decide what toy he wanted to play with first!  I spent more time videoing this year than taking actual pictures but this should explain it all.
After all the excitement of opening gifts, I made our traditional breakfast: German pancakes with buttermilk syrup, sausage and all the extras too.  Like Ireland always says, "it was delish!"
I did sneak some photos of this little guy afterwards which made me so grateful I have a son.  It's nice to have cars and "choo-choo's" around this house!

And so another year has come and gone and all has returned to normal once again, but I am so grateful for this magical time of the year where our hearts are softened, our memories are magical and our joy is pure.
