Today you girls started school. Still adjusting to the new schedule, I had to wake you at 7:45 to give you just enough time for your 8:50 bus stop. I packed your lunches, left little notes of love inside and watched you anxiously get yourself ready in your new school clothes. I heard you talk of being nervous, and that's okay. A quick reminder to say a little prayer was all that was needed. You packed your bags, let your mom snap some quick pictures of you and off we went to meet all the other anxious kids at the bus stop.
Kennedy, you are becoming a beautiful young girl and will have many wonderful opportunities to grow and learn this year. I look forward to seeing you make huge strides this year. Continue to be a good friend to all those around you, make right choices, stay close to your Heavenly Father and work hard. We love you.

Pieper, you are the girl that keeps your mom and dad on their toes! Constantly singing a song, making a noise or correcting one of us from our mistakes, you make us laugh, you sometimes make us cry!, and you are a joy to be around. Your smile and laugh is infectious, your wit is beyond your 6 short years and you have an knack for learning and an incredible memory. We love seeing you grow and learn and become one of "the big girls." You are going to have an awesome year! We love you.

And don't forget, when you get home from your long day at school, this little one is so excited to see you!
