Pink Cotton Candy

After months it seems of seemingly grey skies and rain-filled days, the sun finally made it's debut and us, along with every other Seattle-ite, decided to finally get outside and enjoy some of its warm rays. On Saturday, I had every good intention of doing some much needed yard work. Jake, on the other hand, had his own ideas. So, after twisting my arm (not literally, of course!), and much persuasion, we packed up the kids and headed to The Spring Fair. We usually go in the fall, but we decided to check it out early this year. We dragged our good friends, Troy and Kim along with their two girls. Afterall, they rarely frequent fairs and we had to introduce them to the mass chaos, characters of all sorts (if you know what I mean!), and of course, "fair food!" We didn't let them leave the park until they had an ever-oh-so-yummy elephant ear! And I think they're glad we did!

The girls rode some rides...

Daddy won them some prizes...

And they petted a miniature pony... or two!

It looks like you all had so much fun! I've never been to a fair, but would really like to go--Maybe Jake could convince Travis to take me?

Cute, cute! And...I love people watching at the fair. It's the best! Glad you could get out and enjoy the sunshine!

You are brave to be out and about so soon after Ireland's birth, and the fair no less. Elephant ear's is our family favorite, definitely a must-have at the fair.

A elephant ear sounds really good! The little ponies with the girls are too cute. Those Jackson Boys with their fair games!

We've never been to the spring fair but it sure looks like fun. Well...minus the incident on the news about the ride that tipped over! ;)
