Going From Two to Three...

In preparation for baby sister to arrive, the girls get to "bunk up" in the same room! They were thrilled to finally get their bunkbeds and mommy and daddy are thrilled that they're actually staying in them ALL night. It's been like having a little piece of heaven on earth again after months and months of little girls crawling in and out of our bed all night. Before we set the beds up, we made sure the girls understood these expectations and "followed the rules." Needless to say, they've taken their end of the deal very seriously and we have OUR bed back to ourselves again. They love sharing a room and have spent countless hours playing on their new beds.

Fun! My sister and I bunked growing up and I'm sure that is why we're so close now. That picture of Peiper belongs in the PBKids catalog! SO CUTE!!

I must say that is the best set of bunk beds I've ever seen. Simply adorable!

Oh my goodnes, the girls look like they are having so much fun with their new bunk beds! You really are getting down to the wire here...not very many days left and two will become three, you must all be excited! Has potting training been successful w/ Pieper at all? Once I'm feeling better, it's toliet time for Mr. Josh, we'll see how that goes...I've never been lucky enough yet to have my youngest potty trained before the next one comes (maybe it's because we have always had them so close together) 15 mos. would be a bit too young to have potty trained...that was Jarom. Anyways, the girls new room looks great and I'm so happy that you and Jake now can enjoy your bed to yourselves...nothing like a little bribery, that's great and the girls look adorable as norm!

I love those bunk beds, they are so cute. I've heard many friends say that they would rather their kids share a room because they sleep better. My kids...not so much!

I think that's the bedroom every girl would dream of. You could seriously submit that for a Pottery Barn Kids catalog! I love it! And the beautiful girls is a perfect addition :)

Bunks beds are the best. Me and my sister use to do flips off the top bunk and use the guard rail that was removable as a balance beam!! They look so darling though, I am sure those sort of ideals will never enter their minds.

that is a huge step! We did the same thing when Ella was due to arrive and I was so amazed how well it has worked out! Love bunk beds, and pretty ones too!
