Later that evening, Bailee, Kennedy's cousin, had a carnival at her elementary school just down the street. We ventured off to that to let the kids have some more fun (although I think they were all getting a little tuckered out).
Mommy and the girls started getting tired about and hour or so into it, so I packed them up and walked home. Not such a bad idea given the fact that I had a single stroller and two tired girls. So, I had one in the stroller and one on my shoulders. We rounded out the night with an "indoor BBQ" (always check your BBQ's BEFORE planning one) with the whole gang.
Saturday we had plans to spend the day with my family celebrating all the May (and two April and June) birthdays. Since both of my parent's birthdays are in May, instead of gifts this year, they had requested our "services" (i.e. hard physical labor and many hands of weeding). It was a successful day for them- many things got done that they'd been wanting to accomplish so we all felt good.
After all our hard work, we celebrated all the birthdays- my mom, dad, sister-in-law Amy, niece Brittany, sister Lisa, sister-in-law Kristine, and my little Pieper.
It was a good weekend... all until I got struck with THE FLU!!! Oh well... all good things must come to an end eventually. Mine just came in a miserable little package.

That is a gift my parents would love...hard physical labor at their house.
Hope you are feeling better!
